Bus on Rails

I just got a phone call from a friend who is NOT a railroad buff, but asked me about a story on TV. He thinks it was RFD TV, Discovery Channel or the Travel Channel. He said he saw it two weeks ago or so. It was a bus like vehicle that was riding the rails, just like a high railer. I asked him if it was a Galloping Goose and he insisted that it was a bus like vehicle. He said it rode the rails and then at a crossing or near a road, lifted the riders and drove off on the roadway. He thinks it may have been in Canada. Anyone seen this or know where this took place. That would be an idea for some of the abandoned rails here in Colorado. Ken in Buena Vista
