I never noticed until I scanned this print that there was someone standing in the door watching me take this picture. The TV antenna has a quaint look to it now in our satellite dish world that left those mostly behind us. The Gomez store in Gato was still active at this point, and here's a picture of it with the empty Silverton train being shuttled to Alamosa for the winter, October 6, 1967. And, no photo lines, just me and the train. What a sad place this is today.
