The Rocky Mountain RR Club excursion in 1966 was my only ride on the line from Alamosa to Silverton and return, but one of the neater things we saw was the Tiffany Merc, in Tiffany, Colorado. The building faced the tracks, and it caught most of the rider's attention. I returned to Tiffany several days after the excursion to take this picture. The building is still there, and was most recently a German restaurant, of all things.
