I saw this Sunday night also. I didn't think the D&S shot was even 9 seconds long. It was likely shot south of the high bridge so you can see the river and canyon to the left and in the distance below. Nice scene, and as I said before I would love to make a video out of the originals they shot.
As you said the Colorado springs depot was not a match, or even close. I will say it was a good movie, and had to have my wife explain some of it to me at the end!!!! Several twists and turns!
