Rod,
I agree with you but my post was to specifically congratulate Railstar on their second successful season running the Loop. Ron, Steven and everybody at Railstar have done a tremendous job especially considering the situation that they were handed!
As for Bell and Behrens, if they can be held accountable for their actions then I am all for it but the reality of the situation is that the CHS is in charge of the Loop. They are the ones calling the shots and Railstar has to be able to work with them! It would be great if all of the CHS heirarchy would be replaced but that isn't likely to happen either!
I think what we all are saying is not that we want the incident "swept under the rug" but that we want to insure that something like this doesn't happen again and the best way to do that is to start fresh with a perspective that isn't clouded with the animosities from the past!
Railstar's contract was for 5 years correct? heck, it's almost halfway over! Will the CHS pull the plug on them? It's in everybody's best interest that Railstar (and by proxy the CHS) succeed with this transition and that means more locomotives, more equipment and more support by us!
Figure out a way to hold the CHS heirarchy accountable and I'm with you but sniping at each other on this forum only sounds like "sour grapes" and won't help anything. Just my opinion.
