Steve,
Congrats on a safe and great operating season at The Loop!!
Even with the mechanical issues you guys made it through. Hopefully next year's operating budget will address any mechanical issues you guys need to resolve. It's a wise idea to completely go through #12's running gear. We did that years ago (1996) to our standard gauge 1922 Baldwin 2-8-0 #28 at Railtown 1897 SHP. Other than some normal wear and tear, #28's running gear has held up quite well. It's scheduled for some valve work this winter (new liners and rings).
Looking forward to visiting The Loop again next season.
