When the Lode Theater in Silverton shut down in the 1980s, we located a 35MM print of this film and showed it as the "last picture show" in Silverton. It was a perfect print, georgeous color, no breaks or splices. The theater was packed, and I saw a number of people with tears in their eyes after seeing this film who realized the days of real movies were over for our little burg. It's now a coffee house.
What hasn't been mentioned is that Marilyn Monroe had a bit part in this film as a dance hall girl, and she was a standout. I think it was film #4 that she appeared in before being discovered.
