I mentioned to Andy Payne about the troubles of #12 of the Georgetown Loop. He mentioned that 478, with Larry Shawcroft at the throttle, sustained a broken axle at Hermosa tank.
This caused quite a few furrowe brows in Denver. Equipment was sent down and all the axles were tested. Fortunately the one on the 478 was the only one.
