Does that make the K-36's (8 operational out of the original 10 built) the most complete existing class of operational steam locomotives built for US railroads, narrow or standard gauge? -- Ed
Probably not -- the last time I checked, 100% of the TangShun SY class locomotives built for US service were still in service.
Now, if you were to qualify your statement with "built in the US"...
