For those interested, having worked on the two cars at the Doe River Gorge, I can confirm that both cars have numerous castings with "D&RG" cast into them, rather than "D&RGW". We have no idea of their original boxcar numbers, or even what class they were originally before being cut down to "flat" cars by 6-Flags. Anyone know what their original number were? Or could someone tell us what to look for on the cars that might identify them?
