Thanks for the info. Shame about all this fighting that goes on!
The magazine artical was not actually comparing the works and wares of the lines but discussion there histories and which one pest deserves the title of the first restord/heratage railway.
My conclusion I am afraid is Talylyn has it as the line is in its original location, operated with the same rolling stock and operated for pleasure by vollunteers.
