Don't get it???? Uintah *LINK*

Here on of the articulated Uintah locos heads towards the camera at Dragon, Utah. I never imagined the difference in track height's at this point in the yard. The loco is setting on an upper track that went up the wye towards the old mine (original "main line"). the lower track was put in 1911 and was another leg of the wye and went on in towards Watson. I do not understand what I'm seeing at the right, looks like either a loading platform or a car off the rails? The two "shiny" spots on the far right of the object look like they are in the right spot to be the two "bumpers" that he Uintah put on their cars. Maybe a Gondola? What are all the boards/ rails, planks doing?
