This would seem to be a "timeless" shot from before fake stacks on the 470s, but the giveaway is the second track going up 12th street that takes off just in front of the 473. That was relocated during the fake stack period after a derailment in the late 60s or early 70s (and I have photos of that somewhere) when an engine split the switch that was originally further up the line and in the 12th street alignment. I don't recall the date of the change, though I recall watching it being built, so this would have to be after Bradshaw's takeover at the earliest, because the stacks came off during the first few days of his ownership. Plus the nice herald on the first boxcar was untypical for the later time period. The elements, including a potential question about a tender doghouse, don't align correctly to be a picture other than what it is--a nicely done recreation.
