Volume I of Many More Mountains, a Sundance publication, was reprinted this summer from the original stripped up flim flats by Lonnie Smith in Denver. True, Del sold his Heidelberg KORD, but he had about worn it out and it went to Mexico, as I understand it, but the possibility of reprints of Sundance books does exist within the Denver printing market using the original film negatives. Del moved Sundance into his house and adjoining carriage house earlier this year after losing his lease on the Broadway address.
Prices on the above mentioned book had reached $1000 a copy on the used market when the author, Allen Nossaman, and a friend of his here in Silverton, George Chapman, secured the rights to reprint the book from Del. Smith is also a letterpress printer, so the whole world has yet to go to hell digitally.
