RGS STORY Vol.: VII, VIII, IX OUT OF PRINT!!

The Volumes #VII, #VIII, & #IX of the RGS Story are out of print and out of stock at the publisher, Sundance. If you had plans to complete your collection of this 12 volume series you should act quickly to locate and buy your copy as they are still advailable at some dealers and book warehouses. You should also check up into the used book market at ABEBOOKS.com before the prices go up based on Ebay sales.
Volume VII is half a book of Dolores and 279 pages of the New Mexico Lumber Co. that built over 75 miles of logging line.
Volume VIII includes the RGS Dolores to Mancos & Cima and also covers The Montezuma Lumber Co. that built 25 miles above Glencoe. A study of all the lumber suppliers along the RGS is included in a small chapter on lumber.
Volume IX covers east of Cima to the bridge at Durango, and the branch to Ute coal mine.
Since Sundance no longer has any printing press, they looked and can not find anyone who can use the old negatives to reprint these books. An attempt to scan the negatives to do a digital copy have so far failed to work. If an original book was taken apart and scanned to make a copy for digital printing, the quality will be severely reduced. This may be your last chance to act.
I do not know the availability status of the other volumes but some others may also be near out of print status.
