Help the RR

I know Im not the first to say this, but I also dont think it could hurt...
On another site, a comment was made about Otto Perry, and how he would buy a ticket some times even though he was not riding the train.
So I bid to all of you...If and when you get to the Convention/Railfest, and you want to chase the trains. I know that it will already be expensive, but dont forget to take care of the RR's and shops that keep our hobbies and dreams alive.
Who knows, if every one that went to the convention this year donated like $20 to the RR's...We may see a new engine or new cars at Georgetown. Or we may get more scenery on the D&S with the many cars that need to be restored. Or heck maybe next year or the following, Its possible to have 5 or 6 locos under power again at Chama.
I dont think there will EVER be enough money available to bring all of our dreams back, but I would certainly like to see it last through my life time. Imagine a RR lasting 200 years. Ill probably never see it, but I would love for people to see it like we do now.
