I have seen pictures of every K28 on the Chili Line except 472, 474, 476, 477 and 479. The video confirms 476 was there. The 472 was probably there as well as it appeared everywhere else. The 477 also worked out of Alamosa so it was a good chance it went down as well.
The rail to allow the K28s was only relaided in the 1930s. I read that if the Chili was still spiked down it could have hastened the construction of the Los Alamos National Lab by at least a year ~ fact or wishfulthinking?
