Perhaps these are the cars that Dan Quiat purchased. At least one of tehm became a rider car on the second incarnation of a Central City tourist railroad in the late 1980's. These two cars were later rebuilt as C&S boxcars and placed on display in Breckenridge. One of them was briefly operated on the Georgetown Loop following the restoration (C&S 8311 if memory serves) and was sold to the Forest Service a few years ago and moved to the top of Boreas Pass for display.
