"Hill turn" from Chama east. Two engines on the point, one trained ahead of the caboose. Tonnage for three to set out at Cumbres, followed the next day by another cut to make up the train to go east from Cumbres to Alamosa second day with one of the engines going thru. The three engines returned light individually from Cumbres to Chama the first day.
Probably two on the second cut taken up the next day. Helpers never ran coupled downhill.
Pretty common operation in those days.
