Someone in another forum posted an interesting link about the value of petitions; especially the online kind. It raises some valid points:

That being said; there is one petition online right now in support of the Texas State Railroad between Rusk and Palestine, Texas. As the same person who supplied the link above stated, this one is well written, for a definite purpose, and may get to it's intended recipient. I signed it well before the 5,000 mark; now that the subject has come up, I encourage the members of this forum to do so as well. It is on the TSRR website at:
