The Schwedlers at Coronado Scale Models used to sell copies of the original ALCO erection blueprints for the K-28. I have a set I got from them many years ago. They may still have these drawings available. For basic measurements, you might look for the old John Maxwell drawing of the K-28. They are not detailed, but I have found what measurements are there are accurate. I believe he took most measurements from the D&RGW folio drawings. John Maxwell also used to sell blueprints, copied from the original D&RGW drawings of the Priest flanger installation on the K-28, as well as the plans for the doghouses on all the K-class engines. There is lots of information and details in these plans. The John Maxwell material was being sold out of an address in Nevada, the last I knew, and I assume these plans are all still available.
