The Lihue units went to the Rafael Freyre sugar line in Cuba and to the best of my knowledge still exist there in close-to-operable condition.
There are a number of books and videos that show these locos, although I am not aware of any easily available plans. I suggest for starters you check out the books and videos by Adolf Hungry Wolf at Canadian Caboose Press, Greg Scholl Video Productions, Railfilms, and Pentrex for products and details.
I also recommend you check out Rob Dickinson's "International Steam Pages" web site at the attached URL.
