I can't help but imagine that an open request for small donations wouldn't result in some bucks. You do a LOT of good for the many interested in all you and your co-workers do for our beloved railroad.
Please consider it. Perhaps Roger can help set you up with a PayPal account. I know of a huge motorcycle site that does it and it's made a big difference for them and the site itself. People don't have to donate, but many do and some quite handsomely. The site offers paid "memberships" for various terms, including "Life" and there are a great many who have purchased the Life membership because they realize the value of the site.
