Re: any news on 9 or 74 ?

I was up at the Loop this last weekend and saw the #9 being steamed up outside the shop at Silver Plume or rather I saw them starting to steam her up and then quit! I asked one of the gentlemen working on it how things were going and he said, "Slowly! We're working through a bunch of glitches and, unfortunately, we found a couple more so we're going to fix them and try again tomorrow!"
The engine is beautiful and a bunch of us cheered when we rounded the last curve and saw her steaming up as we came up the Loop from Devil's Gate! I am going back to Georgetown later this summer specifically to ride behind #9! If you have a chance, go and ride the Loop and see a historical treasure reborn!
