I am not sure that I can help your "money make you happy", but I do own one of the harp switch stands you saw advertised--and I don't want to sell it. I bought it about 22 years ago in Silverton on one of my rides on the Silverton train. It was dusty and the last one in the shop so the merchant sold it for half price. They made D&RG and DSP&P styles; mine is the D&RG style. It is quite nice and looks to be an accurate representation of the real thing with correct lettering cast in, etc. I also remember seeing them for sale at the CRRM. I have no idea if anyone is still selling them. Good luck finding one.
