We had a good weekend. Heavy rain Saturday evening, but excellent weather on Sunday.
Saturday was spent indoors going over pushing or shoving the train to Sumpter, and flagging the crossing. Plus Larry Tuttle gave his always thorough class on Fire Prevention. In between rain showers members got a chance to start the Phoenix fire car pump.
Sunday we pushed the train, w/Phoenix, to Sumpter Depot. 19/81 performed well as usual. We practiced pushing across Sawmill Gulch and stopping at the depot platform.
We finished early enough that several members worked on #3 caboose restoration. She is almost complete. Maybe Taylor will post a photo of her soon.
