Jerry, you are right--one warehouse was demolished in the early seventies. It was across from the roundhouse and nearest the depot. As I recall, it was sheathed in corrugated metal. I am almost certain that it belonged to the D&RGW and was part of the sale to the States. All of what we know as the Chama yard was included, including the other warehouse that still remains. I do not know why this warehouse would have been excluded from the sale and no other building.
