Here is the beginning of the replumbed backhead on the Harpur. For those of you who may have seen the pictures of this engine before, well no offense to those in Texas, but all the piping was encased in insulation normally found on HVAC equipment. I spent the better part of a day removing all that stuff to expose the piping underneath. What we found was scarry to say the least!
Leaky valves that had not seen attention in quite awhile had caused much delamination of the schedule 300 pipe fittings etc. Phil Reader the CMO has built this fine working manifold along with other amenities such as new tricocks, water glass assy. and oil can shelf. Still more to be done, but she is much safer to operate now.
