David Conrad's directory (1988) actually shows three John Fowler & Co. 0-6-0ST&T locomotives that operated on Colonial Sugar Refining Co. in Fiji:
unknown # sold to Whitney Bros at Hayward CA in 1963, then to Frank Bayliss (Alton & Pacific) in 1971.
#4 sold to Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation in 1964, reported stored at Terre Haute, Indiana, in Conrad's list
#5 sold 1965 to Tony Hulman, Jr. then death and bequest at unknown date to unknown party, reported stored at Terre Haute, Indiana, in Conrad's list.
I have no knowledge about the status of the engine at Alton, California, or the other engines.
