The girl I was going with in 1972 had lived across Highway 160 near this bridge when she was a young girl. She told me that when she and her brother heard a train coming up the hill they would cross the road and sit under the bridge while the train passed over them. She recalled that it was "scary"!
The bridge is still there but with the widening of the highway it can barely be seen.
Thanks again. I always like to see shots from around Durango.
