There is no plans for any trains on the Creede branch in the future.. the track remains as does the hope, but A lot is still required to get the line open. The SL&RG railroad is slowly working on restoring the track to runable condition from Monte Vista to South Fork as a possible new source of freight is in the works for loading in South Fork.. The SL&RG MOW crews have been working and if I am correct, the line is usable from Monte Vista to Del Norte, but alot of work is still required to open back into South Fork.. I will do my best to get picture's and info on the Shops Website as stuff develops..
