According to "109 E. Palace" material and personnel for Los Alamos were brought in through Santa Fe. Material was routed through Espanola then up to the hill. The small bridge over the Rio Grande linking Pojoaque and Los Alamos wasn't strong enough to accommodate a loaded truck. Personnel were dropped off at Lamy where they were met by a military officer and taken to Santa Fe. They received a temporary pass there and were then
driven up to Los Alamos.

Don
Edith was the station agent at Otowi before the rails were pulled up in 1941.
