Beebe was never one to let pesky facts get in the way of a good story, so it may be 100% bunk. But if there's a nugget of truth there, he's probably talking about no. 911 / B-2. At the time of the first edition of MTD it was stored at the C&S in Denver (not some private collection). It went to Chicago by 1948, then to the Deadwood Central and on to the CHS collection in Silver Plume.
