Alco Photos, NRHS, at Schenectady, NY have the original elevation plans of a beautiful 2-8-0, by Cook construction #1517 and #1518, which as ordered by Guatemala Central #5 and #6.
These engines were built in Sept. 1883 with 16x20 cylinders and 37" drivers. The plan looks very much like the DSP&P, and now I checked the record and see that COOK built a series for the DSP&P ending in August 1883 (#1503) ending with their #68, having 15 x 18' cylinders but the same drivers size.
This plan might make a beautiful fit for anyone needing a plan for the DSP&P engines. Regardless, the elevation plan is a piece of art for sale to all.
