Jim: Not quite the same conditions today. I drove over La Manga and Cumbres passes at about 2:30 PM and there was less than 2 feet on both snow survey stakes. The temp was almost 40 degrees. It's been cold but there is very little snow cover on the ground.
Because of the lack of snow cover the frost level is very deep this year!
