It may interest you to know that, not only is the article correct, but that a portion of the B&B right of way is being rebuilt by a small group of volunteers led by Tom Dickey aided and abetted by myself, John Shea and others. We have laid and ballasted with stone dust about 600 feet of track of the approximately 1250 feet of right of way between Loomis Street and the Great Road in Bedford, MA. While it is meant to be "interpretive" we hope someday to have motive power and a coach. MNGRR No. 3 visited a few years ago on the 125th anniversary of the B&B and steamed over 450 of re-gauged B&M track across the street from the old engine house. We hope to continue track laying in the Spring.
