I don't think this will fly for the C&TS since the 484 and 488 are likely to be running in 2001, and the 493 and 498 have not turned a wheel since 1968(I was lucky enough to see them both that year). Both the D&S engines are probably not going to be repaired for service, as the D&S does not like these K37 class(they already traded away the 497 to the C&TS for 482)due to the curves on the line. Also the older K37's while stronger haulers are more high maintanence than the more reliable K36's. Sometimes the best trades you make are the ones you don't make at all. To me the best scenario here is for the C&TS to get a 470 sometime, without giving up an engine at all, or as Mr. Craft suggested simply have a swap for several weeks. Is there a Santa Claus!!!!
