Fritz hit it. The train is just entering the curve that the curved wooden trestle, that still sits next to highway, is part of. This same curve, just east of the bridge, is where the 483 derailed in 1958 killing fireman Paul Mayer. The dirt grade crossing that is a few cars back goes to a home and barn and in the sixties (maybe before) went to a small oval arena known as "Grandview Speedway". I don't know if it ran in the seventies.
Imagine - a major intersection located here to the new hospital. This location is also being considered to be the way US 550 will go to Farmington, avoiding the steep grade up and down Farmington Hill.
