I would hope that the GREAT yard photo is not just passed off as 'another yard picture.' Usually this part of the roundhouse/boiler house is blocked by a locomotive. Here is revealed: a good shot of the wall brace, maybe a eight by ten? And what year did they beef up that corner? I have been wondering if that window had been bricked up: now I know (I have the CC Crow kit to build). Note the 'Silverton' plow where it can be reached by a loco from the turntable. Sand supply: unlike Chama where sand is shoveled down into the bin from the coal delivery track, Durango is shoveled UP from the service track (the coal delivery track does not extend to the sand bin). How about that ladder? That is no woosey 2 x 4 construction. Then there is the modeler's delight in groundcover; dirt, rocks, coal, weeds. Is that a steam line next to the ready track? Yup. Cannot thank you enough Fritz for sharing your wonderful photos.
