Re: Mesa Verde Too (Brown Paper Bags)

Just got back from the Mesa Verde Nat'l Park Holiday Open House & Centennial Kickoff. There were farolitos along every road and path around Far View, Headquarters, Spruce Tree House, Saun Temple, and both Spruce Tree and Cliff Palace ruins were very tastefully lit...much like you might have expected them to have been on a cold winter night centuries ago.
I did not take a camera tonight to this magical place that many RGS passengers were bound for when they bought their ticket to Mancos. I chose this time to just keep pictures in my mind.
The moonlight and candlelight was fantastic.
