Re: SVRy may get $500,000.00

Wyden's press release seems to indicate the President will sign the bill authorizing the funds listed. We at SVRy sure hope so. These funds will most likely be used for Engineering and some track laying on the Union Creek Extension. If we can stretch it far enough we may do restoration and/or purchase of rolling stock needed on the extension. We will be linking up with Sen. Wyden, Sen. Smith and Rep. Walden's offices to get details on spending. We are also discussing how to get the 20% match needed.
Needless to say we here at SVRy are all real excited as this is the first step toward building the 4.5 mile extension to the Campground.
