41 had the big "41" number on the tank with "R.G.S." on the cab sides until sometime in 1940-41, at which time she got the rising sun herald. By 1947 the staight line lettering was on the engine. She originally had twin 9 1/2" pumps and they were replaced with a single 11" off either 22 or 25 sometime around the time she got the rising sun herald.
