Referendum C passed.

November 02, 2005 08:12AM
Voting went 52.3% in favor, 47.7 percent against.
Referendum D didn't pass, 49.6 to 50.4.
This doesn't necessarily mean funding for the C&TS, but it does mean there's a lot more money available to the state. Since D went down, there'll be more pressure on the legislature divert that money to transportaton projects. But at least we're not looking at a situation where there will have to be honking big, painful cuts.
