Re: THE CITIES and "free marketing"

I live 1300 miles from the C & TS and they are getting advertising here simply because I am doing my best to promote whenever possible.
I pray that a full schedule is available next season because of the fact that ten or more people that I know here are talking about a trip as a group. That will not happen with a truncated schedule. Our plan is to possibly hit the Sumpter Valley and Durango & Silverton on the way to Chama. I would really like for this to happen.
I repeat again (from previous posts) that my ride in early September was great BECAUSE i rode both ways. Staying in Antonito allowed me to enjoy the trip in both directions, leave a little money in Antonito, and avoid the bus. I don't know the answer to solving the cost of the bus problem but it sounds llike a major issue that needs to be addressed.
I have not ridden the D & S but I will also say again that I met a number of people who have ridden both lines and found the C & TS much more enjoyable.
