Roger - Thank you for posting this. I have just returned home from a week of Docent duty and the photos and videos are wonderful reminders of what has to be the most spectacular day I have experienced on the C&TSRR. The fresh snow and the rich fall colors were spectacular as was the wildlife; we were greeted by a bald eagle, a golden eagle, two bears, and a fox along with the usual crew of red tails, harriers, deer, and elk.
The train and track crew did a great job dealing with the snow and a special salute should go to Stephen Flowers and the Osier Kitchen crew who served a typically wonderful meal after making their way through 6 inches of snow and fallen trees on the road to Osier.
