Earl the game warden

Twice while working in Chama I managed to run down grouse running up the track. These two incidents occured running up Cumbres - wide open, 10 mph.
Once while on a track inspection trip with roadmaster Max Pachecco, we ran down a grouse with the 012 motor car. He slammed on on the brakes backed up to the bird and stuffed it in into a bag saying "them's good eatin'....!"
