Will probably be in two of them...the Crested Butte book and the snow fighting. I actually have a series of them. A D&RGW fireman (later eningeer) on the Crested Butte switch engine had just received a new camera and was trying it out when Rotary OO came up from Gunnison to clear the yards at Crested Butte and the Anthracite branch. He climbed on the tender of 361 and shot a series of shots of the run. A few times he jumped off (the snow was higher than the tender) and walked along with the train shooting from the rear and getting ahead of it a few times. Whey they were done, they backed down to Crested Butte to water and coal the rotary and engines. He got a shot of the CF&I mechanics working on the OO's blades while they were filling the tender with coal. The entire train was ex-Crystal River except for Caboose 0588.
