1) Fast Freight, as sung by Dave Guard of the Kingston Trio
2) City of New Orleans, as sung by The Brothers Four
3) Pat works on the Railway, as sung by The Northeast Winds
4) The Ballad of Festus Frothjaw, if I can ever find anyone who sings well and who is wierd enough to want to record it. (Andy Fahrenwall of the Knight Foundry preservation group in Sutter Creek gave the libretto to U. Utah Phillips a long time ago, but Utah developed a heart problem shortly thereafter - not due to my song, I hope - and never did perform it.)
5) The REAL lyrics to Humoresque by Anton Dvorak, which are (approximately):
. "Pretend that you have constipation
. "While the train is in the station
. "Do not flush the toilet 'til we leave ..."
6) Orange Blossom Special - the 12-minute version as recorded by the Acadiana Cajun/Zydeco band here in Ventura, with Teresa Russell and Phil Salazar. (Our lead guitarist Teresa is the ONLY lady to ever make it to the finals of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; Phil was a California State Fiddle Champ, I believe, several years ago. He recently performed in a "Bluegrass Concerto", or something of the sort, with the San Francisco Symphony.)
