The museum south of Montreal is the Canadian Railroad Museum (or in mangled French, Musee Canadien Ferrovaire). I was up there in 2001.
At the time they were working on building a rather large car storage shed. I understand that it's complete. They had a trolley line running the circumference of the place and a short demonstration line that took them to the end of their property.
I don't specifically recall any Newfoundland equipment but I wasn't really looking for that either.
