Very Sad

It's one thing to see historic equipment rotting away someplace where it someday might be saved. But to look at the S&S and know that at one time someone had the vision, and the desire to do the right thing, only to have the whole works fall ruin makes me very sad. A big thank you needs to be made to those who have succeeded in making thier dreams come true.
Just think, if Uncle Bob R. had walked away from the Narrow Gauge Motel in 1958, South Alamosa might look exactly the same way today.
